MaBe Labs is me, Marian Babić, plus a small bench of engineers and designers I've worked with for years. One new project starts each month, so the person on your first call is the person building it.

5+ years building production software at product companies and consultancies in Zagreb, Munich and Amsterdam: enterprise SaaS, automotive finance, robotics and remote customer support. I've led projects in teams of four to nine engineers. Right now I'm also building an online product catalogue for an equipment company.

Opinions we will defend.

  1. 01Hire software before you hire people.

    A new hire to handle admin costs you a salary every month, forever. A system that removes that admin you pay for once. Do the math before you post the job ad.

  2. 02Boring technology wins.

    Your system should still run in ten years and be fixable by the next developer you hire. We use proven tools, not whatever was trending last month.

  3. 03If your team won't use it, it doesn't work.

    Adoption is part of the job. Software nobody opens is the most expensive spreadsheet you'll ever own.

  4. 04Say no early.

    If software isn't your answer, or we're not the right team, you'll hear it on the first call. It costs us a project and saves you a year.
